PROCEDURE


To BID for a boat that is for sale by TENDER just FILL OUT THE FORM for THAT boat if there is one, including your BID, or CALL +44 7985 043 981 or EMAIL me steve@ahoy-boats.com. We recommend that you always bid a few pounds over a round figure if you wish to win the boat. But DO NOT tender any more than you can afford! If you are successful you WILL BE OBLIGED to pay the 20% deposit as soon as you are invoiced after the tender closes. Then you will be put in touch with the vendor to whom you must pay the balance before the boat will be released to you. You must collect the boat and safe transportation is your responsibility.

  • The VirusBoats Yole was design by Noël Louvet in 1993 and immediately became a classic. She was popular with families and professional people alike. The fibreglass model is much lighter (42kg) than the polyethylene Yole Club (60kg) but it stays much cleaner and holds its value really well. An excellent boat for open water. The road trailer is much more substantial than a simple launching trolley and worth a lot more.

  • A very successful design by the late Noël Louvet.
  • Owner said, "The Yole as ordered was a double, with an extra hatch and bulkhead, passenger seat and two pairs of standard oars. We also have a combination trailer bought at the same time. I've attached two pictures of the boat, neither is very recent. We haven't used it much in the last 2-3 years but it should be in good condition. We're really sorry to be giving her up but access for my wife is now going to be very difficult following a recent serious operation."
